grace

so i've decided to take my personality project in a slightly different direction. instead of trying to represent a million personality traits in the photo, we've decided to focus on just one. this one was grace. more to come soon!

linda the cupcake queen

so i'm doing a series where i'm playing with ways of representing people's personalities through hair/makeup and styling.

this was my first shoot.

linda loves travel, spaghetti, stars, baking, and music.

william flies planes

while we were in florida i was able to do some portraits of my brother in law, who flies lawyers to the bahamas in cirrus planes and gets paid for it. awesome, right?

adriana is a friend of megan's, and she asked me to take some graduation photos of her.
we had a great time in the studio this morning, and there's more to come (when it gets nice out we're going to do an outdoor session).

elise and i had fun in the studio yesterday doing some lighting tests.
she is our new assistant at work.
of course we used each other as models.

christmas

as i mentioned, i had the pleasure of spending christmas in st. george with my husbands family.
this provided me with the long awaited opportunity to photograph our newest niece: sophia. and photograph her i did. she was a great little model. anyway, these are all from christmas day with the fam.

if you're wondering whether the clothes hanging from this tree mean that i made katie change into the d.i. dress (which we bought on the way to the shoot) in the middle of the aspen grove, you would be right.

i'm really not sure why, but i decided it would be cool to tangle her in the trees with lace...
